jester through the silent night, that nocturne dances grace and poise.
then and again, i sit there thinking about the infinite night,
where stars shine and glisten in the deep dark canvas of royal navy blue;
the stars like specks of silver dust.
moonlight glazes the icy lake with its milky gleam.
shards of winter pierce the surface, rippling through the sleet.
the ripples, oh, so calming, yet with wisdom so deep.
